Adding a Customer Ship-To Address
You are able to add ship-to information for a customer. The ship-to information includes additional addresses for shipping, freight billing, etc. You may add as many ship-to addresses per customer as you need.
How to Add a Customer Ship-To Address
To add a customer ship-to, follow the steps below.
- Select Manage > Customers from the navigation pane.
- The Manage Customers page appears.
- To add a ship-to address for the customer, select the Expand icon next to the customer to display the Ship-To Addresses nested grid.
- The Ship-To Addresses nested grid is displayed for this customer.
- Add icon: At the Ship-To Addresses grid, select the Add icon.
- A Ship-To Addresses grid appears underneath this customer.
- Add the ship-to address.
- Save icon: Click the Save icon to save the ship-to address to the customer. The Ship-To Addresses grid closes. You are returned to the Ship-To Addresses grid. The address has been saved to the grid.
- Cancel icon: if you do not want to save this ship-to address to this customer, select the Cancel icon to discard this ship-to address information and close the Ship-To Addresses grid.
- When you select to save this address, the address is added to the Ship-To Address list for this customer.
- You are able to add as many ship-to addresses to a customer as you want. To add another ship-to address, click the Add icon.
- The Ship-To address grid is placed into Add mode and you are able to add another address.
- When you are finished adding ship-to addresses for this customer, click the Collapse icon next to the main customer entry to close the Ship-To Addresses grid and return to the Manage Customers page.
Editing the Customer Ship-To Address
The customer ship-to address may be updated. To update the customer ship-to address see "Editing a Customer Ship-To Address" for more information.
Deleting the Customer Ship-To Address
A customer ship-to may be removed if it is not being used on an order. If the customer ship-to is on an order, it may not be removed; see "Deleting a Customer Ship-To Address" for more information.
